Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been waiting with\nbated breath for about a year for the arrival of \u201cAvengers: Endgame\u201d and no\ndoubt have seen the film\u2019s ambiguous trailer at least once \u2013 or, more likely,\ntwo dozen times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plot has been so shrouded in secrecy that one of the\nmovie\u2019s stars filmed a scene without any knowledge of what was happening with\nhis or her character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I\u2019m not an asshole. So out of respect for those who\nhaven\u2019t yet purchased tickets, everything here also is intentionally vague. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEndgame\u201d is the 22nd<\/sup> film in the MCU and has the\nenormous task of wrapping up the all-encompassing narrative with which we\u2019ve\nbeen engrossed since 2008\u2019s \u201cIron Man.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And with so much to cover it\u2019s no wonder this flick\u2019s run\ntime exceeds three hours; however, its pace keeps the action rolling such that\nyou won\u2019t even notice the time investment. But I wouldn\u2019t recommend getting the\nextra-large beverage, because your bladder might be less forgiving than your\nbrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing the previous titles obviously is helpful, just to be\nsure that you\u2019re neither missing nor confused by a face or a name or a\nreference \u2013 or a joke. And because this is Marvel, you know<\/em> there will be humor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My husband and I saw \u201cEndgame\u201d on back-to-back,\nopening-weekend nights, and reactions from the sold-out crowds at each showing\nmade for an enthusiastically interactive experience, which was so<\/em> much fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viewers cheered and gasped and sniffled and laughed, all of\nwhich is typical \u2013 some more than others \u2013 when watching a Marvel flick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I think folks were more affected this time \u2013 because the\ninvestment is so extensive, and the stakes are higher than ever before: \u201cWhatever\nit takes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one signifies the end of an era, so it means a little\nbit more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And audiences get that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only thing I will tell you for sure is that \u201cEndgame\u201d is\nworth it. Go see it. It\u2019s a doozy, and it\u2019s one final chance to see the \u201cAvengers\u2026\nassemble.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
